No race timing experience is necessary, but a passion for running is always a plus! About Us Presidential Timing provides chip timing, online registration, and other services to endurance events across New England.
Our crews help facilitate road races of all shapes and sizes and provides fast, accurate and knowledgeable service to our event directors every weekend! We provide full training, and opportunities to advance to Lead Timer with higher pay rates will be available.
Responsibilities Set up and breakdown of start and finish line equipment Data management for new participants registering on race day Producing and posting race results during and after the event Managing the flow of participants at the start and finish line Taking finish line photos Fielding questions from participants about results Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or in progress) preferred, but not required Ability to problem solve on the fly Ability to work in a high-pressure, time sensitive environment Basic computer literacy, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel Ability to be on-time, typically for early morning weekend call times Must have driver's license and vehicle to reach event locations Events typically take place outdoors in all weather conditions, so please be prepared Job Type:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
