Benefits Management:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources the Benefits, Payroll and Compensation Manager has oversight of our colleague health and welfare programs including pension, savings plans, & stock plans. Assists in the design, selection and administration of all colleague and executive benefits programs. Develops and coordinates annual enrollment as well as ongoing administrative procedures. Vendor management, manages vendor RFP search process. Merger and Acquisition experience. Legacy plan management, conversions and plan terminations. Responsible for all IRS, DOL and ERISA compliance and non-discrimination testing for plans.
Develops strong relationships with partners such as Finance, Legal, Internal & External Audit.
Assist in the evolution of state of the art Oracle Capital Management System with a passion for developing and integrating electronic delivery of HR programs in an online environment
Payroll Management:
Working with ADP and other payroll systems providers, Implement payroll operations and related policies, processes, and procedures while managing key reporting requirements, responsible for documenting HR and Payroll processes, and managing processes related to tax filing and regulatory reporting. Manage general ledger and data feed interface for Accounting, Finance, and IT. Provide critical information and ad hoc analysis to add value to business results. Manage payroll system configuration requirements. Manage all testing requirements for implementation as well as ongoing system and tax update. Seek to continuously improve end-to-end processing and establish best practices to meet complex, dynamic and changing business needs.
Requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of Human Resource practices and comprehensive Benefits experience, MBA preferred .
Competence of ERISA Benefits and compliance.
Advanced working knowledge of state and federal employment law is required including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII and COBRA
Must have strong organizational skills and enthusiasm for challenging initiatives.
Demonstrated Team building skill
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Financial Services industry experience is a plus. Lead and develop a team of six committed colleagues.
